    When they had a surprise hit with the throwaway track "In the Name of Love" off of their second album, "Set", they realized they were onto something. The track had been written by Tom Bailey, so they jettisoned four members of the formerly seven-piece outfit, leaving only Bailey, his girlfriend Alannah Currie, and Joe Leeway/5(5).

    Thompson Twins' second album was a big step towards eventual success for the band, and the song that helped make that step was "In The Name Of Love". Initially written as an extra (how often does that happen with various groups?), it eventually became a dance hit in the USA to the point where the album was released under that title, with a mixture of songs from this release, and the previous A Product Of.
